The 'short story' esque album style is something that really started to develop while making my first album 'A New World' and for me it's the best approach to writing my own music.
This time , "Dreamstate" sonically explores the different kinds of sleep cycles and dream worlds with a focus on more experimental and ambient sound. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I'm very excited to hear what you think.
"Dreamstate"-like many of my recent works-probably benefits a lot from viewing it as more of an experience and less as background music. So, if you have the opportunity, please put on some headphones (or listen through a good speaker system), sit or lay down somewhere quiet, close your eyes, and let your mind wander while listening to these tracks.
I don't mean this in a pretentious way. My writing process actually involved a lot of meditating and listening with my eyes closed as well, and I think it really helps with the whole dream feel I was going for. Either way, I hope you enjoy it.

A thoroughly beautiful journey of a track. Full of the characteristic warm, relaxed sounds I've come to expect from A.L.I.S.O.N., this track in particular drew my focus. I don't know enough actual musical terminology to describe what I mean, but the interplay of melodies here is unique and lovely.
